If you had told me a few months ago that I’d be going live on TikTok, engaging with amazing people, and building friendships that feel like family—I would have laughed and said, “No way.” But here I am, two weeks into this incredible journey as a TikTok Live Host and part of the TikTok Shop Affiliate Program. And let me tell you, it has been nothing short of life-changing.

Taking the Leap: Overcoming Anxiety

For years, my anxiety kept me isolated. The idea of going live, putting myself out there, and talking to complete strangers felt terrifying. I was comfortable staying behind the scenes, running my small business, and watching others shine. But then, something changed.

I found myself drawn to two amazing Live Hosts who made it all look so effortless and fun. Their energy, confidence, and genuine connections with their audience were inspiring. Watching them, I thought, Why not me? I didn’t want to be a chicken anymore. It was time to push past the fear and try something new.

Finding My People: The Zen Approach Family

Taking that first step was scary, but I wasn’t alone. I quickly realized I wasn’t the only newbie figuring it all out. I joined the Zen Approach Live Agency, a supportive community of Live Hosts, and immediately felt at home. The friendships I’ve built in just a couple of weeks feel like they’ll last a lifetime.

These people are more than just fellow Live Hosts; they’re my Live Besties. We hype each other up, celebrate wins together, and remind each other that we’re all growing, learning, and improving with every live session. It’s been an amazing experience being surrounded by people who genuinely want to see each other succeed.

Growing on TikTok: Becoming a Live Host & Affiliate

Going live is more than just pressing a button—it’s about creating a space where people can connect, laugh, and be themselves. Every time I go live, I get to meet new people, share a little about myself, and hear their stories. I’ve learned to ask fun questions, share random facts, and, of course, throw in a few dad jokes along the way.

On top of that, I’ve also joined the TikTok Shop Affiliate Program! This means I get to share and promote products I love while engaging with my audience. It’s a fun and exciting way to grow my platform while helping others discover great finds.
