Daily Poem: “Begin Again”
Written by Kristen aka Puzzled Kay
With every sunrise, I’m reminded—
I get to try again.
No matter the weight I carried yesterday,
today is untouched, unbroken,
waiting for me to breathe into it.
I don’t need to rush.
I don’t need to meet anyone else’s timeline.
Growth doesn’t always look like motion—
sometimes, it’s just the quiet decision
to keep going.
So I show up.
Even if I’m tired.
Even if my heart still aches.
I water the parts of me still learning
how to bloom.
Because starting over
isn’t weakness—
it’s courage.
And I am growing.
At my own pace.
And that is enough.

Note from Me:
I wrote this on a morning where I needed to remind myself that it’s okay to slow down. That I don’t have to be all things, all at once. That starting over doesn’t mean I’m behind—it just means I’m still trying. Still showing up. If you’re in a season where you’re learning to breathe again, or figuring out what’s next, I hope these words meet you where you are. We don’t have to bloom overnight.
Thanks for being here with me.
